About the Role

As the Quality Enhancement Lead, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining the quality of our fruits and vegetables throughout the procurement process. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, growers, and internal teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with desired standards.

Specifically, You Will Be Responsible To

·        Implementation of QA program at national level for Fruits & Vegetables

·        Making specifications of the Fruits & Vegetables

·        Making SOP/Product manual for the Fruits & Vegetables

·        Developing training materials for Fruits & Vegetables

·        Coordination with State QA Heads / Regional QA Heads, Fruits Head & Vegetables Head for new product launch and information to all concern in time

·        Monitor rejections in fruits and take correction in coordination with category team

What You’ll Do

·        Develop and implement quality enhancement programs for fruits and vegetables.

·        Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.

·        Collaborate with suppliers and growers to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

·        Analyze data and trends to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.

·        Train and educate internal teams on quality standards and best practices.

What You’ll Need

·         Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food technology, or related field (Mandatory).

·         Proven experience in quality assurance or enhancement within the fresh produce industry.

·         Strong knowledge of fruits and vegetables, including quality parameters and post-harvest handling.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·         Analytical mind-set with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
