Job Accountabilities  

• Familiar with all Engineering design guides and standards relevant to discipline.
• Interpret and verify industry standards, guidelines and codes for project deliverables.
• Create basic discipline deliverables and documents like PFDs, P&IDs, and Datasheets etc. for a particular project /assignment within budget, schedule limits and meeting quality requirements.
• Schedule and monitor work plan consistent with project commitments.
• Lead technical discussions with customer and supplier
• Review and coordinate documents from other disciplines.
• Participate in HAZOP studies, model review & technical audits
• Ensure that detailed design methods, standards & input data are followed in conformation to client requirement.

Skills Required  

• Familiar with National & State level Standards / Norms of Pollution control Boards
• Familiar with various treatment process and design parameter for Water & Wastewater treatment plant, Water Reuse & Recycle Plant for Petroleum Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas & Chemical Industry.
• Familiar with Air Emission & solid waste management plan for Petroleum Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas & Chemical Industry
• Knowledge of latest technologies for water, wastewater treatment, water recycle/reuse plant for Petroleum Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas & Chemical Industry
• Good knowledge in hydraulic calculation, control valve calculation etc. using software like KORF or any other equivalent or from first principles.
• Knows how to prepare & check standard process deliverables like Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), line list, cause & effect diagram, process datasheets, battery limit schedule, process datasheet for instruments (IPDS), tie-in list etc.
• Familiar with Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) sizing calculation based on software or from first principles.
• Know ledge on review of vendor engineering offers, documents, design
• Knows how to coordinate technical issues within discipline & also with other disciplines.

Key Attributes:

Qualification:

• Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering from accredited college or university

Experience:

• 6- 10 years detail engineering experience in Hydrocarbon/ other heavy industries
