Job Accountabilities 

• To originate basic discipline deliverables and documents like PFDs, P&IDs, and Datasheets etc. for a particular project /assignment with quality within schedule.
• To lead technical discussions with customer and supplier
• To participate in HAZOP studies.
• To ensure that detailed design methods, standards &input data are followed in conformation to client requirement.
• To use standard design software used in dept.
• To ensure that health safety and environment and quality assurance procedures are flowed during all contracts /assignments.
• To interpret and verify industry standards, guidelines and codes for project deliverables.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) 

• Good knowledge in hydraulic calculation, specs for control valve, using software like KORF or any other equivalent or from first principles.
• Capable to prepare & check process deliverables like Process Flow Diagram (PFD), P&ID, line list, battery limit schedule, tie-in list, cause & effect diagram etc.
• Good knowledge in Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) load calculation, PSV sizing calculation etc. based on software or from first principles.
• Working knowledge in network analysis and surge analysis
• Group management.
• Know ledge on usage of process simulation e.g. HYSIS, pipe net equivalent
• Knowledge of working within budget timelines.
• Knowledge on national statutory codes, e.g. IBR OISD, and international codes API, ASME etc.
• Working knowledge to develop conceptual schemes for basic feed engineering.

Key Attributes 

Qualification:

• Engineering Degree from accredited college or university

 Necessary Experience:

• 7 years minimum relevant field.
