Job Accountabilities

• Supervise and check  the work of subordinates
• Attending review meetings with internal/ external customers and vendors
• Originate and checking of stress analysis deliverables by carrying out stress analysis and design calculations by using appropriate software.
• Allocate appropriate works and provide necessary Piping inputs to subordinates
• Compliance to QMS procedures and maintaining relevant records of assigned jobs
• Compliance to project specific HSE practices
• Job Planning and monitoring of stress analysis activity schedule.
• Develop inputs for Project schedule / MIS reports
• Optimize resource utilisation
• Planning for self-training
• Initiatives for work process development
• Efficient execution of stress deliverables with available design tools (i.e. Caesar II, SPR, and Ansys etc.).
• Coordinates technical issues with intra and inter disciplines and site
• Interprets and verifies industry standards guidelines and codes for project deliverables 

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Familiar with knowledge for performing complex engineering stress analysis activities.
• Expertise in  use and application of codes 
• Advance working knowledge of MS office, Caesar II and other software tools.
• Thorough knowledge of project specification and standards
• Understands intra and inter discipline technical issues.
• Knowledge  of planning and scheduling
• Knowledge of QMS procedures and department standards, guides and related work instructions
• Understanding of major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work
• Understands roles played by other departments on projects
• Understanding basics of Piping Material, pipe support design principles and work processes
• Familiar with standard department deliverables and work process on projects
• Knows how to conceptualize and prepare standard department deliverables using standard work processes and tools
• Relevant site exposure will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Ansys software, will be given advantage.

 Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

• 07 years minimum (3 years of working experience on medium complex projects - preferably in Refinery, Petrochemical, O&G etc.)
• Engineering Degree from accredited college or university.
