Job Accountabilities

• Adhere to QMS & standardization requirements.
• Compliance to project codes & standards
• Issuing of piping material deliverables maintaining quality & schedule and guiding subordinates for the same.
• Maintain PF for all piping material deliverables as per department norms.
• To resolve technical issues w.r.t piping materials.
• Provide resolution to SERs.
• Review and compiling data of received MTO.
• Generation of status reports on a regular basis.
• Continuously seeks new efficient ways to perform tasks and to deliver quality work.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Knowledge and understanding of QMS, department standards, specifications, guides, procedures, software (PDS & Micro station) and their usage.
• Knowledge & exposure of internationally recognized MTO software .
• Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards e.g. ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, IBR, ASTM, NACE, API, etc.
• Good knowledge of interpreting licensor documents for further development of piping classes, piping material class generation, piping components including valves & specials, material selection, PDS RDB generation, datasheet preparation, MTO work process, material requisition generation & monitoring, technically evaluating the vendors, vendor document review and schedule of quantity generation.
• Familiar with work processes like shop & field piping fabrication, piping erection & testing, welding, NDE & PWHT and piping insulation & painting.
• Understands & resolves technical issues and interdisciplinary interface issues.
• Good communication & presentation skills.
• Resolves piping material substitution SER .

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

06 years minimum (3 years of working experience on medium complex projects - preferably in Refinery, Petrochemical, O&G etc.)

Engineering Degree from accredited college/university.
