Senior Lead Engineer – Tie-in Systems
Main Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Lead Subsea Tie-in Engineer with over 10 years of experience in subsea and over 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry. In this role, selected candidate will be responsible for managing work package for single and multi-bore connection system and ROV tooling during project life cycle, provide technical support to O&M team, interface with cross-functional teams within Company.
Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage work package for single and multi-bore connection system and ROV tooling throughout complete project life cycle.
- Review and resolve technical queries during bid evaluation process.
- Vendor document review, attending drawing reviews and ensuring accuracy.
- Co-ordination and Supervision of work during subsea equipment Fabrication, testing (FAT/EFAT/SIT), offshore construction / installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up phases and the project handover.
- Co-ordinate and Manage Master Equipment List / MTO for subsea hardware package.
- Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection for SPS, SURF and EPIC.
- Manage engineering, procurement, and systems completion activities for assigned scope.
- Scope and Contract Oversight: packages.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate and interface with Internal functional teams and external agencies / contractors.
- Ensure smooth transitions between project stages and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide support to O&M team.
- Leadership and Compliance:
- Uphold HSE standards.
- Co-ordinate with engineering, construction teams, and vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and coach team members.
Skills and Qualifications Required (Knowledge and Skills)
- Good knowledge of subsea systems
- Prepare power point presentations on technical aspects to senior management
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Qualification:
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years in capital project execution, preferably in oil and gas or related industries.
- Broad experience in project management, engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Exposure to Subsea design with expertise in subsea systems, subsea hardware & controls, subsea operations.
- Exposure to Typical Project life cycle (i.e. concept, FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning) for deepwater / ultra deepwater green and brownfield developments.
- Experience in Technical Interface Management.
- In depth knowledge of Subsea Production Systems and equipment supplied by Major OEMs.
- Familiarity with Company Furnished Material (CFM) management / supply chain management between Stakeholders / Contractors.
