Job description for 'Officer Maint. - Mechanical' - REAM position

Job accountabilities:

  1. To prepare maintenance plan, PM schedule for critical equipment of the plants.
  2. Plan & Execute Mechanical Maintenance tasks effecitively.
  3. Ensure availability of critical spares, services and manpower for maintenance work and plan for same.
  4. Maintain integrity of maintenance SAP-PM and SAP-MM data, analysis and costs - by timely and correct data entries and validations
  5. Ensure all statutory and legal requirement of plant is done in timely manner.
  6. Co ordinate with plant and other REAM discipline for any maintenance related work.
  7. Plan and execution of any small project, MOC, CAPEX related activities in plant.
  8. Adhere to Permit to work system for all maintenance jobs with risk assessment, tool box talk and job related checklist.
  9. Ensure compliance to procedures and best practices
  10. Support manager to prepare mechanical maintenance budget
  11. Analysing Mechanical Maintenance cost and budgeting on Weekly/Monthly and annual basis.
  12. Prepare audit related documents for manager
  13. Conduct regular Troubleshooting and analysis when appointed as a member of RCA team
  14. Participate in Reliability & Integrity studies as identified
  15. Maintain history/ records
  16. Carry out LLF as per plan
  17. Ensure that all pending jobs are promptly entered into SAP-PM system
  18. Ensure improvement in availability of equipment
  19. Ability to Minimize production/ quality loss in event of unplanned failure
  20. Inventory control of Mechanical spares.
  21. Maintaining IMS/ISO documents for Mechanical Maintenance
