Job Accountabilities 

• To perform, review, and supervise engineering work within discipline w.r.t to adherence to quality schedule, safety and limit within budget.
• To comply process design regulations, industry codes and standards 
• To understand contractual obligations and ensuring compliance within department through appropriate delegation.
• To understand technical, and costs related to design selection.
• To constantly review and upgrade the skill & knowledge of sub-ordinate through active interaction with SLE/CE.
• To have thorough knowledge of design tolls/software used by department.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Knowledge about industry design guides, regulations, engineering instructions.
• Knows how to develop /guide all standard deliverables PFD, P&ID, line of reasonable size project & complexity.
• Has knowledge on technical, cost related to selection of typical design features within discipline.
• Good knowledge in hydraulic calculation, control valve calculation etc., using software like KORF or any other equivalent or from first principles.
• Good knowledge in PSV load calculation, sizing, etc. based on software or from first principles.
• Working knowledge in network analysis and surge analysis
• Knows how to coordinate technical issues within discipline & also with other disciplines.
• Knowledge on usage of process simulation e.g. HYSIS equivalent, flare net, pipe net or equivalent.
• Knowledge of working within budget timelines.
• Working knowledge to develop conceptual schemes for basic feed engineering and integrations.

Key Attributes:

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree from accredited college or university

Experience:

• 11 years minimum detail engineering experience in Hydrocarbon/ other heavy industries
