Engineering, Planning & Management-

- Monitor, plan, and support completion of assignments, and assure technical integrity to manage engineering project initiatives. Ensure availability of resources and its effective utilization

- Manage Project associated activities and be the interface throughout the project lifecycle for successful delivery that is aligned to the goals and KPIs across all parameters including but not limited to standards, safety, schedule, cost measures, quality, etc.

- Plan & monitor complete work; conduct reviews and approve the engineering designs, and ensure pre-emptive steps are taken for safety parameters at the right engineering stage

- Review the engineering deliverables (like models, etc.) issued by the detail engineering contractors and determine the degree of alignment with design intent

- Provide valuable engineering insights through recommendations to incorporate industry trends, forecasts, productivity, and quality by helping in revising processes, guidelines, and procedures

- Implement lessons learned from past experience

- Assist in construction & commissioning activities

- Ensure satisfactory resolution of all technical contradiction arising at site during project execution

Projects, Construction & Controls-

- Act as an interface to integrate deliverables from different verticals and work streams and engineering contractors

- Enable & support EPC Project execution and understanding of the role and responsibilities of all stakeholders on Basic, FEED, and Proposal Engineering and also focus on Inter & Intra department interfaces & interdependencies

- Prepare & ensure division of responsibilities (DOR) between the engineering company, contractors, and associated departments.

- Review and approve all the engineering designs in a timely manner; provide suggestions for any updates as necessary

- Provide technical guidance to the team, monitor their deliverables of individual contributors, senior engineers and the engineers on a regular basis to avoid risks

- Identify, Mitigate the Risks, Plan for Risk Management proactively, and escalate issues if any

- Escalate issues to Manager, and HOD to resolve risks and issues

Ensure satisfactory resolution of change management

Cost, Resources Optimization & Efficiency-- Design/ create schedule plans, costing, and budgeting according to the prescribed allocation of costs and resources. Ensure effective utilization of resources

- Manage Contracts, Resources as per structure, schedule, quality, and safety standards

- Participate in the Budgeting cycle, and process and provide inputs on allocation for the team

Manage budget within guidelines and ensure efficient utilization and minimum variance in targeted budget v/s. actuals, variance analysis, and suggest course corrections as applicable

Education Qualifications- BE/ Beach (Instrumentation )

Experience -- 13-15 years of in-depth experience in detail engineering, and project engineering with 6-8 years of hands-on expertise in instrumentation, engineering fields related to hydrocarbons, chemicals, and petrochemicals

Experience of executing Instrumentation engineering of Mid and/or Large size of hydrocarbon, Petrochemical and chemical projects will have added advantage
