Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Relations Manager at a mid-level position for our Silvassa location. This is a full-time role ideal for individuals with expertise in labor laws, conflict resolution, and union relations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the employer-employee relationship through a well-rounded industrial relations strategy.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Labor Law Knowledge (Mandatory skill): In-depth understanding of labor laws and regulations applicable to the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Conflict Resolution (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in identifying, addressing, and resolving workplace conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
  • Union Relations (Mandatory skill): Experience in managing relationships with labor unions and negotiating union contracts.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate terms and conditions that benefit both the company and the employees.
  • Employee Relations: Competence in fostering a positive relationship between the management and employees.
  • Legal Compliance: Ability to ensure all policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
  • Collective Bargaining: Expertise in collective bargaining processes to negotiate labor agreements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with employees, management, and external stakeholders.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement industrial relations strategies that align with the company’s objectives and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with labor unions, including negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements.
  • Handle and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Advise management on best practices related to employee relations and labor laws.
  • Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on relevant industrial relations topics.
  • Monitor and report on industrial relations climate and trends within the organization.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors to address any industrial relations issues or disputes.
