Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Direct Tax and TDS professional to join our team at Reliance Industries Limited in Navi Mumbai. This full-time position involves managing tax compliance, TDS calculations, and ensuring adherence to tax deduction laws. Responsible for handling of monthly TDS payment, quarterly TDS Return & timely compliances of relevant activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. To monitor handle & ensure the monthly TDS payment activities, Quarterly return filing and related compliances.

2. The regular TDS/ TCS defaults review in all the TANs, to ensure earliest return revisions to eliminate the risk of demand notice.

3. Supporting with required details for Audit, response to Income Tax notices.

4. To address queries raised by vendor & businesses related to TDS deduction & applicability.

5. To co-ordinate with relevant banking and accounts team for query resolution.

6. To prepare & submit data to assessment, audit team on requirement basis.

Skills Required

1.    Basic understanding of direct tax matters

2.     Knowledge of SAP FICO module

3.     Knowledge of advance MS-excel, Ms-word.

4.     Knowledge of accounting

5.     English drafting & Analytical skill.

Qualification Required

Graduate/ Post Graduate in finance and accounts
