Job Accountabilities

• To carryout piping feasibility study and layout development.
• Activity related to procurement such as MTO
• Review Piping documents generated by designer / modeller or by vendors
• Compliance to QMS procedures and maintaining records
• Proactively respond to training and development plan as directed by line manager.
• Originates basic department deliverables and documents.
• Timely completion of assigned work with quality compliance.
• Efficient execution of project deliverables with available design tools.
• Provide resolution to SERs
• Coordinates technical issues with inter & intra disciplines and site.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Basic piping knowledge specific to discipline
• Familiar with standard departmental deliverables and work process on project
• Familiar for use and application of   design codes
• Advance working knowledge of MS office, microstation & PDS and other software tools
• Knowledge of project specification and standards
• Knowledge of QMS procedures, standards, specifications, guides and departmental procedures
• Good communication & presentation skills
• Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work
• Familiarity with roles played by other departments on projects
• Familiarity with basic knowledge of  Piping material, pipe stress analysis, pipe support design principles and work processes

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

• 3 years minimum ( preferably DEC experience in Refinery, Petrochemical, O&G)
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical engineering preferred).
