Job Accountabilities:

1.   To prepare Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS), for Reciprocating Pumps, Single Stage and Multi-Stage Centrifugal Pumps.

2.   To prepare MDS for Blowers, Agitators, Reciprocating and Screw Compressors.

3.   To prepare Material Requisitions for Quotation, and for Purchase (MRQ, and MRP).

4.   To review bidders’ offers, to identify lacunae, and to prepare Technical Queries (TQs) as part of carrying out Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).

5.   To carry out review of vendors’ drawings (VDR), and getting the same reviewed by other Engineering departments.

6.   To Carry out Inter-Department Checking for documents such as Plot Plans, Foundation Drawings, etc.

7.   To witness performance tests of the equipment, at vendors’ works, before final clearance.

8.   To comply with QMS procedures and to maintain appropriate records.

Skills Required:

1.   Knowledge and understanding of Thermo-dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Metallurgy.

2.   Knowledge of codes like, API610, ASME B73.1, API682, API675, API613, API618, API619;

3.   Knowledge of Engineering Standard Specifications;

4.   Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power point;

5.   Shall have good written and verbal communication skills.

Key Attributes:

Qualifications- Degree in Mechanical engineering from accredited college or university.

Experience - 2 years minimum experience in equipment manufacturing companies or Engineering Consulting companies or Chemical plants.
