Job Requirements:

We are looking for a Cardiology Technician to join our team at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on patients and providing medical care to them. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of cardiology and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Mentor / Director / Consultants in delivery of patient care as per the clinical standards.

· Adhere to the standard Cardiology departmental procedures and protocols

· Check with the Mentor/ Director / Consultants about his / her need for standard and special equipment and ensure availability at all times

· Coordinate with the nursing staff to fill the requirements and needs for any particular departmental activity as and when required

· Identify the patient correctly and educate the patient with the purpose, pre-requisites required for the procedure and explain the procedure to the patient

· Responsible for upkeep & calibration of all equipment of the department. Liaise with Biomedical Engineer to ensure to smooth functioning of all equipment of the department.

· Report any damage to the instruments / equipment in the department to the concerned Biomedical and follow up for replacement

· Follow standard protocols for ECG, Exercise testing, TEE, DSE and Stress ECHO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cardiology or related field.

• 1-10 years of experience in a cardiology technician role.

• Knowledge of cardiology and medical terminology.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail.
