ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Quality Management System (QMS) Development:
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, IATF, VDA 6.3) and industry best practices.
• Establish quality policies, procedures, and documentation to govern all aspects of quality assurance and control.
Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in executing quality assurance activities effectively.
Audits and Compliance:
• Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Address audit findings, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution of quality issues. Quality Improvement Initiatives:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality, increase efficiency, and reduce defects or non-conformities.
• Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to identify root causes, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, supply chain, and customer service, to address quality-related challenges, improve processes, and achieve quality
objectives.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among departments to ensure alignment with quality goals and initiatives.
Quality Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze Customer complaints, Supplier complaints, in house complaints using QC tools (preferably 8D)
• Analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to monitor quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
• Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Certification Compliance and Standards:
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, standards, and industry trends related to quality assurance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, standards, and certifications applicable to the organization's products or services.
PREFERRED SKILLS
o Knowledge in Product and Assembly process plastic, rubber and metal parts
o Overview of automotive parts (Sensors, Solenoids, Coils, Relays, etc.)
o Ability to understand customer requirements from customer documents, drawings, etc.
o PPAP process and documentation
o Ability to address internal and customer complaints using Q tools
o Ability to conduct supplier audits
