Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior ELearning QA to join our dynamic team remotely or on a freelance, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be based in the Pune Division and possess 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and expertise in testing eLearning platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of at least 1 year in quality assurance, particularly in the context of eLearning platforms (Mandatory skill).
- Strong proficiency in testing methodologies with a focus on user-centric testing approaches.
- Ability to effectively track bugs and perform rigorous follow-ups until resolution.
- Experience with user experience testing to enhance product usability and learner satisfaction.
- Solid understanding of content validation processes to ensure accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
- Expertise in cross-browser testing to ensure platform compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
- Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline for course simulations and interactive module testing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and suggest effective solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional and non-functional testing of eLearning platforms to ensure high quality standards.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and reports for various eLearning projects.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, developers, and stakeholders to gather and provide feedback for improvement.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, project timelines, and defect metrics.
- Utilize bug tracking tools to record and manage defects efficiently and ensure timely fixes.
- Perform regression testing to verify the consistent performance of eLearning modules post-updates.
- Identify potential gaps or issues in the user experience and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations in all eLearning content and platforms.
