Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Ticketing Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage domestic flight bookings for our clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing seamless travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process domestic flight bookings for clients, including reservations, ticket issuance, and itinerary updates, using airline booking systems and online travel portals.
2. Coordinate with airlines, travel agencies, and other partners to secure the best available fares and options for clients' travel requirements.
3. Provide personalized assistance to clients in selecting suitable flight options, considering factors such as schedules, pricing, and preferences.
4. Ensure accuracy in all booking details, including passenger information, travel dates, seat assignments, and special requests.
5. Handle inquiries and requests related to domestic air travel, including changes, cancellations, refunds, and rebooking arrangements.
6. Communicate with clients via phone, email, or in-person to confirm bookings, provide travel updates, and address any concerns or issues.
7. Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, and industry regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients.
8. Assist clients with ancillary services such as seat upgrades, baggage allowances, and in-flight amenities as per their preferences.
9. Maintain thorough records of bookings, transactions, and client interactions in the booking system or database.
10. Collaborate with team members to optimize processes, resolve challenges, and enhance the overall efficiency of the ticketing operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or certification in travel and tourism is a plus.
• Proven experience in domestic ticketing, reservations, or customer service within the travel industry.
• Familiarity with airline reservation systems (GDS) and online booking platforms, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to process bookings efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
