Job Description of General Manager – Head of Projects, Jaipur


1 Strategic Leadership:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
  • Develop and implement a clear and effective business strategy to achieve company objectives and long-term goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition & good track on all projects.


2 Project Management:

  1. Manage and monitor construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and quality delivery within budget constraints.
  2. Good knowledge on Interior.
  3. Good in Team management.
  4. Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
  5. Regular site visits for proper quality control and commanding and supervising the projects.


3 Financial Management :

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the company's financial health and profitability.
  • Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenue to achieve optimal financial results.


4 Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, contractors & a good knowledge on interior and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide mentorship to develop employee skills and expertise.


5 Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Create transparency & doing good admin work & track all the details.
  •  Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain the company's reputation for excellence.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.

6 Business Development :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's client base and revenue streams.
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to enhance business development efforts & create business for the same.

7 Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Responsible for delivering optimum quality of a company's services or goods.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration or a related field & Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within the construction & Interior Industry with a track record of successful project delivery and business growth.
  • Strong project management skills, including knowledge of project  Excellent communication, negotiation, commanding  and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction-related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Problem-solving mind-set with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, LEED, etc.) are a plus.
