Job Description:


We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Area/Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our white goods division, focusing on heavy electronic products such as TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-15 years of hands-on experience in the white goods sales industry, with a comprehensive understanding of the market. This role requires the ability to lead and manage a sales team within a specific area or district, contributing to our sales growth on a PAN India scale.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the sales team within your designated area or district, with a primary focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.


2. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, offering guidance, training, and performance management.


3. Area/District Operations: Oversee and coordinate sales activities within your assigned area or district, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.


4. Sales Targets: Set ambitious sales targets and execute strategies to consistently meet or exceed them.


5. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, monitor competitor activities, and analyze data to make informed decisions.


6. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address customer concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.


7. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our white goods product range and ensure your team is well-informed about product features and benefits.


8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget within your area or district, optimizing resource allocation.


9. Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making.


Qualifications and Requirements:


1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.


2. 8-20 years of progressive experience in white goods sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.


3. Experience in managing a sales team within a specific area or multiple districts.


4. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.


5. Effective communication and negotiation abilities.


6. Proficiency in data analysis and the use of CRM tools.


7. Goal-oriented with a commitment to consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.


8. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a competitive market.


9. Willingness to travel within your designated area or district and occasionally on a national scale.
