Job Description for Sr. Executive- Projects:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Executive to oversee and manage projects related to Control Relay Panels (CRP). The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in electrical engineering, exceptional project management capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of power system studies, relay selection, and the overall project lifecycle. This role requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects encompassing the design, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning of CRP systems.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
• Technical Oversight:
• Review and approve technical specifications, relay selection criteria, technical drawings, wiring schematics, and other design documentation.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance in selecting and configuring numerical protection relays, ensuring compatibility with system requirements and integration with Substation Automation Systems.
• Oversee the execution of power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and relay coordination.
• Client Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries, project updates, and ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Conduct regular project reviews, workshops, and presentations for stakeholders to provide transparent updates on progress.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor junior project executives, engineers, and other project team members.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary resources and training to execute their responsibilities successfully.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all projects meet or exceed industry standards, organizational policies, and client expectations.
• Conduct thorough quality checks at various stages of project execution, including factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Implement best practices in quality control and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, technical data, test reports, and other relevant records.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, project status updates, and post-project evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree or specialization in power systems is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project execution, specifically in Control Relay Panels, Substation Automation Systems, and power system studies.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Proficient in electrical circuit design, relay logic, and panel construction.
• In-depth knowledge of numerical protection relays, relay settings, and relay testing procedures.
• Experience with power system studies tools such as ETAP, Digsilent Power Factory, or PSS/E.

• Project Management Skills
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, project management tools and ERP systems. Knowledge of IEC 61850 is a plus.
• Problem-Solving

• Working Conditions:
• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to client locations or manufacturing facilities for project execution, inspections, and commissioning activities.
