Job Title: Deputy Sales Manager
We are looking for an active, self driven Deputy Sales Manager who will assist in overseeing the daily sales operations, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate the sales team, analyze market trends, and work closely with the team to drive business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the sales team, addressing any issues or challenges.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
- Ensure efficient and effective sales processes and systems are in place.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Service, Projects) to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to counteract competition.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market and sales data.
Sales Reports:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and present findings to senior management.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM software (Salesforce).
- Monitor sales expenses and ensure they are within budget.
Qualification:
· Candidate should be a BE. Electrical. A master’s degree is a plus.
· Proven experience in sales or a similar role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Proficiency in Sales software (Sales Force) and CRM tools.
· Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
