Job Purpose

Information Services (Platforms & Applications) team is looking for a Technical Content Writer to develop a document that explains a product's features and benefits. The candidate works with Product Developers, UI / UX designers, and scans various applications / platforms to develop documents for end-users, including user-facing documentation and internal developer documentation.

Roles & Responsibility

• Scan and test different applications / platforms and develop user interface text, online help and developer guides
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Prepare instruction manuals and articles to communicate complex, technical information more easily
• Analyze existing and potential content / applications / systems flow and focus on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Create infographics and screenshot markups
• Meet with product developers, UI / UX designers, RF Team Members, various application / platform developers and technology vendors to learn about specific products or processes
• Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Include Additional Certification Required if any

Necessary:

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Development
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
