Job Purpose

The incumbent for this role will play a key role in ensuring that all commercial transactions are properly executed and compliant with respect to various RF policies/statutory laws and regulations.

The scope of work covers all entities that are part of Reliance Foundation Group which includes, Trusts, Societies and Section 8 Companies. This is a group level position and the incumbent will work closely with the other P&C teams at RF level and the larger Reliance ecosystem.


Roles & Responsibility and Outcomes (KPI)


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management
  • Alternate vendor development in consultation with programmes/users and central P&C function - GMS (Group manufacturing services) for mitigating risk of dependency on major vendors.
  • Manage central database of vendors
  • Vendor Master Review and periodic updation
  • Undertake Commercial Negotiations
  • All procurements are made with the following principles,
  • Propriety and Genuineness
  • Best value for money
  • Generate cost savings
  • Objectively and impartially undertake the negotiations in the best interest of the company
  • Finalisation of Annual rate contract (ARC)
  • Finalization of programme wise ARC and monitoring the same Increasing Annual rate contract (ARC) coverage for revenue contracts year on year basis by regular monitoring of spend analysis.
  • From Drafting of contract till final allotment & administration
  • Post award contract administration / management: Taking overall responsibility & ownership of contracting process end to end i.e. management w.r.t. resource mobilization, job execution etc.
  • Timely compliance of statutory /labor compliances /regulations: Monthly monitoring with structured interactions in close association with corporate IR cell & counseling non-performing contractors.
  • Contractor performance management- Standardization of contractor performance evaluation process across programmes.
  • Safety compliance & risk management- All the defined latest HSEF guidelines/requirements to include the awarded contracts
  • Designing and Monitoring Standard Operating Processes (SOP) for Procurement and Commercial Function
  • Develop and publish standard checklist for commercial negotiations
  • Have weekly meeting with Team Lead – FC&A and CFO to discuss outcomes of all commercial negotiations before proceeding for generating Purchase Order
  • Take Guidance from the Central Procurement Team at Reliance for Commercial negotiations, Issuance of work contracts etc
  • Maintain and publish various performance related MIS and dashboard including Monitoring Procurement Budget Vs Actuals and publishing variance reports
  • Any other related work as may be delegated and required within FC&A/P&C Function

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Necessary:

  • MBA/PG Diploma in Materials Management/Chartered Accountant
  • 2-3 years’ experience in similar capacity


Desirable

  • Technical (desirable)
  • Databases
  • Prior experience with Development Sector (CSR) procurement and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of SAP- MM Module, Tableau, FICO
  • Well versed with Finance Management and Governance System or its equivalent
  • MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point
