Job Description

Project Manager- Non-farm livelihood and skilling

• Design and develop an implementation plan for sustainable enhancement of non-farm livelihoods in urban and rural India
• Identify the existing best practices across different states and come up with scaling-up strategy on various models for livelihood promotion
• Identify existing gaps and challenges for the youth towards employability
• Liaison and establish linkages with multiple stakeholders with the objective of financial inclusion, capacity building, market reach and overall income enhancement
• Responsibility of overall project management of various initiatives under the skilling and livelihood

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5-10 Years of experience in the development sector
• Demonstrated experience of working on livelihood promotion, enterprise development and skill development
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and in a multi-cultural environment
• Minimum of 4 years of college education in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, Development Studies, Social Work, Management. Candidates with educational background in other disciplines may be considered based on relevant experience.
