Job Purpose

The Program Manager for Financial Inclusion in Women Empowerment will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance the financial well-being of women, promoting economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. This role involves strategic planning, program implementation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to empower women through improved access to financial resources and education.

  • Financial Literacy Programs:
  • Develop and implement financial literacy programs to enhance women's understanding of financial concepts.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions and experts to provide training on budgeting, saving, and investment.
  • Access to Financial Services:
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve women's access to formal financial services.
  • Establish partnerships with banks and microfinance institutions to facilitate financial inclusion.
  • Entrepreneurial Funding Support:
  • Facilitate programs to provide funding support and grants for women-led enterprises.
  • Collaborate with funding agencies and investors to create opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
  • Savings and Credit Groups:
  • Organize and support the formation of women's savings and credit groups.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of these groups in promoting financial independence.
  • Financial Literacy Improvement:
  • Measure the increase in financial literacy skills among women participants.
  • Track the number of women actively practicing sound financial habits.
  • Access to Financial Services:
  • Assess the percentage increase in women with access to formal financial services.
  • Monitor the utilization of banking services and other financial products.
  • Entrepreneurial Funding Success:
  • Measure the success rate of women-led enterprises receiving funding support.
  • Track the economic impact of funded enterprises on women and the community.
  • Savings and Credit Group Effectiveness:
  • Evaluate the growth and sustainability of women's savings and credit groups.
  • Monitor the financial independence achieved by participants through group activities.

  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Include Additional Certification Required if any
  • Necessary:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial inclusion or related program management.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing financial literacy and inclusion initiatives.
  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Necessary
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of financial inclusion challenges and opportunities, particularly for women.
