Job Purpose

S/he will have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in multi-method evaluation in a consulting and/or in-house monitoring and evaluation function, across a complex array of programs, initiatives, and in a pan India environment. The focus will be on developing and implementing frameworks, tools and systems to measure the performance evaluate and review our impact. The incumbent would be required to collaborate with Programme Heads to ensure that emerging lessons are used in better decision-making and improving design of the programmes.

Research & Measuring Change

  • Identifying research areas aligned to the program areas and interventions of the Foundation
  • Conceptualise and implement research studies
  • Design and implement studies to measure change in RF’s intervention areas

Management Information Systems

  • Design, plan and collate MIS required by Programme teams and COO/Management
  • Conceptualize and implement MIS/CAPI based modules for different programmes and research activities
  • Support Communications teams with relevant information/ write-ups

Evaluation

  • Develop Measurement & Evaluation work plan in synchronization with the programme work plan.
  • Supervise the planning and implementation of diagnostic studies aligned with the different programmes of the Foundation

CSR & Partnerships

  • Recommend changes in data structures and data requirements so as to build more robust data sets
  • Analyse data including, quality (data cleaning, sanity checks, missing data, extreme observations); single variable analysis, correlations
  • Report on physical & financial progress on a periodic basis based on annual plan
  • Build the capacity of programme staff and support them to effectively use and maintain the MIS
  • Conduct Rapid Assessment on selected activities for the on-going projects at RF
  • Coordinate with different partners both internal and external for effective implementation of programmes
  • Support CSR team in designing and conducting situational analysis and needs assessment of multiple geographical areas with a focus on rural communities, migrant labourers and tribal communities
  • Plan, coordinate and implement with Corporate Secretarial, Accounts Consolidation, and Sustainable Reporting teams of RIL to ensure that we are compliant with Company’s act regarding CSR as well as present the achievements and impact of RIL’s philanthropic work

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Post Graduate Degree in Management/ Development administration
  2. Minimum of 10+ years of M&E experience
  3. Experience of implementing large scale development projects
  4. S/he should be experienced in commissioning projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of English and Hindi and any additional languages would be desirable
  • Good analytical skills and demonstrated use of the same
  • Ability to be highly organized in order to manage and prioritize workload
  • Ability to coordinate and work in multi-disciplinary teams
