Job Overview
We are seeking a Safety Senior Team Member to join our team in Jamnagar. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional to oversee and ensure workplace safety standards. The role is critical in maintaining operational safety at our manufacturing plants, contributing to our vision of sustainable and safe energy production.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in safety management practices and procedures, specifically in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Must have expertise in Safety (Mandatory skill) to ensure comprehensive safety oversight and risk management.
- Certification in PDIS, which is essential for understanding and implementing advanced safety protocols within the plant.
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS), demonstrating a strong foundation in industrial safety principles and applications.
- Experience with NEBOSH certification, indicating a thorough understanding of occupational safety and health management.
- Familiarity with HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies to identify and manage potential hazards in processes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess safety data and generate actionable insights for preventive measures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management to promote a culture of safety excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance and effectiveness of safety measures.
- Lead HAZOP studies and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to promote and enhance safety awareness and training initiatives.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and develop preventative solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and records, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
- Advise management on necessary safety improvements and emerging safety threats within the industry.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, providing strategic recommendations to enhance safety culture.
