Job Description for Business Analyst -
A Business Analyst is responsible for managing and leveraging technology systems and data to support the operational and strategic needs of a retail team. He/She will ensure the effective utilization of information systems and technology to enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and improve overall performance.
Responsibilities :
System Uptime with data Accuracy
1. Measure the availability and reliability of retail systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
2. Assess the accuracy and integrity of data across retail systems and databases.
Brand Onboarding & Relationship Management
1. Identify potential domestic brands for onboarding, focusing on alignment with company standards.
2. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for each brand.
3. Conduct onboarding presentations and provide brands with comprehensive orientation about the company’s guidelines, order process, and operational expectations.
4. Build and maintain long-term relationships with brand partners, providing support and addressing queries as they arise.
Order Management & Fulfillment
1. Forecast demand and plan ordering schedules to maintain optimal stock levels for each domestic brand.
2. Track orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and resolving any supply chain or logistical issues.
3. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to guarantee accurate order fulfillment and quality control.
Sales Analysis and Inventory Optimization
1. Assess the effectiveness of sales analysis and reporting in identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
2. Measure the impact of data analysis and inventory management systems on optimizing inventory levels, reducing stockouts and improving inventory turnover.
System Enhancements
1. Monitor the successful implementation of system enhancements or upgrades that improve efficiency, functionality, or user experience.
2. Keep track on market trends, asses and introduce advanced systems for data management.
Qualification
1 Bachelor's Degree - BA/BCOM/BSc/BCA(Any full Time Graduation)
2 MIS/Business Planner Experience - Should have minimum 5 years of Experience in the MIS/Business Planning
3 Communication Skills - should be Well versed with English, Hindi and effective writing skills 4 Additional Skills - Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization software, and database management. Understanding of data security and privacy regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
