Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales


Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strategies to increase market share in the bike accessories segment. This role requires close collaboration with dealership teams, vendors, and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and strong business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for bike accessories in assigned locations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network.
  • Drive market expansion through strategic partnerships and new account acquisitions.

Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Benchmark competition and provide actionable insights to stay ahead in the market.

Customer & Dealer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealers.
  • Address customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and enhance client satisfaction.

Sales Performance & Target Achievement:

  • Track sales performance and generate regular reports to measure success.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to meet sales targets.

Promotions & Brand Visibility:

  • Plan and execute BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing activities, including exhibitions, retailer meets, and dealership events.
  • Organize promotional campaigns, training sessions, and local riding events to enhance brand presence.

Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Stay updated on the latest bike accessories, riding gear, and market trends.
  • Train dealership staff and partners on product features and benefits to drive effective sales conversations.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Sales & Account Management – Strong ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Expansion & Dealer Development – Experience in business development and expanding dealership networks.
  • Customer Relationship Management – Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze data, benchmark competition, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Event Management & BTL Marketing – Experience in organizing retailer meets, exhibitions, and promotional rides.
  • Target-Driven & Resourceful – Strong focus on achieving sales targets and finding innovative solutions.


Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Apparel, Luggage, Helmets, Riding Gear, or Automotive Accessories industries.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automobile or bike accessories sector.
