Job Description: Vendor Coordinator (Real Estate Industry)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Source and evaluate new vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with vendors to secure favorable pricing and service terms.
  • Coordinate vendor selection processes and oversee bidding and proposal evaluations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (such as project management, procurement, and accounting) to ensure smooth coordination and execution of vendor-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Track vendor payments and invoices, ensuring timely processing and compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Implement vendor management best practices to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential new vendors and opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications and Skills:


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience (1 years) in vendor management or procurement, preferably within the real estate industry.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in using vendor management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications:


Certification in Supply Chain Management or Vendor Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Knowledge of real estate development processes and construction industry practices.

Experience in managing vendor relationships for property maintenance or facilities management.
