Job Title: Manager - Accessories

Department: Accessories in Garment Industry

Location: Tiruppur

Note :- Candidate having experience only from Garment Industry required.

Job description

Accessories Maintenance:- Sewing Threads, Paper boards, Labels, Zippers, Buttons, Fusing Stickers, Inner Elastic, Outer Elastic, Eyelet/Revert, Stone/Stud, Laces, Tapers, Packing Accessories items, Polybags, Cartoon boxes.

  • Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.
  •  Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.
  • Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.
  • ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality, timely delivery etc.
  • Development of new vendors and effective management of vendor database.
  • Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.
  • Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries.
  • Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation.
  •  Implementing Standard Operating Procedures within the warehouse.
  • Accessory SAP stock review on daily basis
  • Accessory short/excess dispute review
  • Packing materials stock review and procurement plan
  • New Development follow up & task Approval
  • Accessory Plan sheet review
  • Paper Board supply discussion
  • Accessory cost sheet preparation.
  • Moving & non-moving materials utilization & recycle process.
  • Consumption reports of packing.

  

Educational Qualification:

·      Qualification: Graduate/ Post Graduate.

·      Specialization: Tendering and Vendor Negotiation, SAP, ERP, Excel

Work Experience:

·      No. of years: 10 to 15 yrs.

Behavioral Competencies

·      Must have excellent verbal communication & Negotiable skills.

·      Must demonstrate trust and integrity with ease.

·      Responsible, punctual & ability to work under pressure.

Other Job Requirements:

·      Must be multi-lingual – ability to speak and read in English, Tamil, Hindi

·      CTC Salary : As per company norms.
