Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Research & Ideation Intern to join our podcast team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, and podcasting & is eager to learn. The intern will play a critical role in supporting our team by conducting in-depth research, brainstorming content ideas, and assisting in the development of engaging podcast episodes.

Key Responsibilities:

 Research:

• Conduct thorough research on various topics to support podcast episode content.

 Ideation:

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh and innovative podcast ideas.
• Collaborate with the podcast team to develop episode themes, storylines, and formats.

 Content Development:

• Support the production team in planning and scheduling podcast episodes.
• Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing content quality and audience engagement.
• Assist with scriptwriting, editing, and proofreading podcast scripts.

 Market Analysis:

• Analyze trends in the podcast industry to identify popular themes and emerging topics.
• Monitor competitor podcasts to gather insights and suggest improvements.

 Administrative Support:

• Assist in organizing and maintaining the podcast content calendar.
• Manage and update databases of research materials, contacts, and resources.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Research skills with the ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.
