We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Operations to lead our operations team

and oversee the day-to-day operations of our international trading company. The successful

candidate will be responsible for managing the entire operations lifecycle, from procurement to

logistics, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective

manner.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

- Oversee the entire operations lifecycle, including procurement, logistics, and supply chain

management.

- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives.

- Ensure that all operations are conducted in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

2. Team Management:

- Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, including procurement, logistics, and

supply chain managers.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

3. Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, including market, credit, and regulatory risks.

- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses.

4. Compliance:

- Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and

industry standards.

- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory

requirements.


5. Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers,

and regulatory bodies.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and logistics providers to achieve business

objectives.


6. Contract Review and Proofreading:

- Review and proofread contracts, agreements, and other documents to ensure accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure that contracts and agreements are legally sound and meet business objectives.


Requirements:

1. Education:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a

related field.

2. Experience:

- At least 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in an international trading

company.

- Proven track record of success in managing complex operations and leading high-performing

teams.

3. Skills:

- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other operational management software.

4. Certifications:

- Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is an added advantage.
