Job description

• Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, ensuring that they accurately represent mechanical components and systems
• 2D and 3D Drawings: Develop 2D drawings for detailed views, dimensions, and annotations and, when necessary, create 3D models to provide a comprehensive perspective of mechanical components and assemblies
• Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product designers, and other professionals to transform design concepts and specifications into precise drawings
• Material Selection: Specify the materials, tolerances, and surface finishes required for mechanical components, and create bills of materials (BOMs) as necessary
• CAD Software Utilization: Utilize specialized CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to draft and model mechanical parts and assemblies
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and safety regulations
• Quality Control: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design and engineering specifications
• Revision Management: Maintain and update drawings to reflect any changes, modifications, or improvements in the design process
