Key Responsibilities:

 Lead and manage the design and planning team, including engineers, designers, and

drafters. Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance to ensure timely and

accurate project delivery. Provide mentorship and professional development

opportunities for team members.

 Spearhead preliminary and detailed Project Planning & Scheduling, budgeting and cost

control

 Lead the development of MEP and HVAC system designs from initial concept through final

construction, attending kick-off meeting, analysing drawing and BOQ to understand the

scope of the projects. Review and approve all technical drawings, specifications, and

calculations.

 Coordinating with consultants, clients for finalisation and submission of drawings, and

technical data sheets.

 Coordinating and supporting Procurement and Project team for analysing and vetting the

technical specification of the equipment, finalisation of vendors, preparing the plan of

timely material submission to the project and supervising the smooth operations

 Leading the value engineering activity for all projects, implementing effective plan for

cost optimisation and cost control

 To coordinate with Design and Project team for variation quantity analysis and submission

of bills to client.

 Coordinate with vendors for Non tender items and get the offer to prepare the rate

analysis, submitting the rate analysis to client / Consultant / PMC and get the Purchase

order to order the Non tender materials

 Attending periodic project progress review meetings, analysing the progress, resolving the

issues, and due correspondence to clients/ consultants and to the management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ Electrical engineering

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in a leadership role within Design Engineering and

project planning, preferably within the MEP contracting industry.

Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple complex MEP projects from

initiation to completion, meeting project objectives, and exceeding client expectations.

Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively

collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in various Design softwares, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools and

technologies.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
