We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer with expertise in the fabrication of tank systems, tanks, skids, piping, vessels etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptual Design:

• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand design requirements for Heavy Transformer Fabrication.

• Develop conceptual designs that balance functionality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Detailed Engineering:

• Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication.

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards codes, and client specifications.

Material Selection and Procurement:

• Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials for fabrication, considering factors such as durability, corrosion resistance, and cost-efficiency.

• Evaluate and approve material certifications to meet quality standards.

Fabrication Support:

• Provide technical support to the fabrication team throughout the manufacturing process.

• Resolve design-related issues that may arise during fabrication, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that fabricated products meet design specifications and industry standards.

• Conduct inspections and reviews to verify the integrity of fabricated components.

Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

• Maintain accurate records of design changes and project iterations.

Collaboration:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on the Heavy Transformer Fabrication.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to equipment fabrication.

Experience:

 5 + years experience in Design Heavy Transformer Fabrication industry 

1) Heavy Transformer Design Fabrication Tanks experience

 2)  Preparing details of each item in Auto-cad/Manual from customer drawings of Tank, End frame or other fabrication work as per specification and resolve if any queries occurred.

3) Know how to do nesting so that scrap generation can be further reduced..
