Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Officer - Purchase to join our team at Ray Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. As the Officer - Purchase, you will be responsible for procuring and managing the company's inventory of pharmaceutical raw materials and supplies. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is suitable for candidates with less than 1 year of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and raw materials is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with procurement software or systems is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Procure pharmaceutical raw materials and supplies from approved vendors.
• Coordinate with internal departments to determine inventory and purchase needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to maximize value and minimize costs.
• Perform regular inventory checks and update records to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Track and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Prepare purchase orders, request for quotations, and other procurement-related documents.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and select the most suitable vendors based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all procurement activities.
