Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, digital marketing, and brand building. As an intern, you will assist in developing and executing social media strategies to engage our audience, grow our brand’s online presence, and drive user engagement.

You will gain hands-on experience managing social media platforms, creating content, and analyzing performance metrics while working closely with the marketing and content teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring regular posting and audience engagement.
• Content Creation: Help create engaging and creative content (text, images, videos) tailored to each platform's audience. This includes designing posts, writing captions, and working on short-form videos.
• Campaign Support: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of social media campaigns and promotions.
• Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely manner.
• Trend Research: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Performance Analysis: Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, followers, and conversion rates using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Hootsuite.
• Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze competitors' social media strategies to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and marketing, to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Key Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Basic knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar tools for content creation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to think outside the box.
• A passion for social media and staying up-to-date with trends and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere, iMovie, or CapCut.
• Basic understanding of SEO and how social media impacts search rankings.
• Interest in analytics and basic knowledge of tools like Google Analytics or Sprout Social.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
