Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager for the Logistics Division is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires strategic planning, client relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to deliver optimal logistics solutions. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and develop customised strategies to meet client needs in a fast-paced environment. Do travels, field visits, customer relationship building, supporting team goals, and business development meetings as deemed necessary for allocated individual and team sales-goals accomplishment.

Job Duties:

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
  • Develop customised sales strategies and coordinate business generation activities.
  • Build strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and manage a prospect list to ensure a pipeline of future business opportunities.
  • Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) responses, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for cross-selling activities and ensure seamless follow-up.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and secure customers through face-to-face meetings and proactive prospecting.
  • Collect market intelligence and identify new business opportunities within the logistics sector.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, products, and services.
  • In-depth understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of RFQ processes and commercial activities within the logistics industry.
  • Expertise in account management, new business development, and financial forecasting.
