Job Purpose:

The Assistant Sales Manager – Indian Coal will oversee sales activities, achieve sales targets, and drive new business opportunities in the coal sector. The role also includes customer relationship management and developing strategies to expand market presence.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Identify and develop new accounts to grow the customer base.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare market intelligence data and provide actionable insights to the management.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer base.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer value and satisfaction.
  • Establish new relationships and maintain existing ones with customers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyse performance, and share updates with management.


Required Qualifications:

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the Indian coal market and customer behaviour.
