• BSCS or equivalent experience required, advanced degree a plus

• 4+years hands-on C, Make, Shell and Linux development, 8+ years preferred

• 4+ years using SQL and relational databases (Postgres is a plus)

• Experience building and supporting large cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)

• Experience designing and building highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise applications • Experience with C# and .Net technologies is a plus

• Experience building REST Web Services and using messaging systems such as Kafka is a plus

• Expert knowledge of OOD, design patterns, data structures and algorithms

• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment

• Financial systems experience (accounting, payroll, etc.) a plus

• Experience working in a SAAS environment a plus

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
