Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Coder to join our team at RapidClaims.ai. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing and reimbursement purposes. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, with an employment type of Full-Time. We are specifically looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in medical coding.

Qualifications and Skills

• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in medical coding
• Proficiency in Surgery, ED, E/M, ICD-10-CM, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Medical Terminology
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Familiarity with healthcare billing processes and insurance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
• Certification in medical coding (e.g. CPC, CCS) is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review medical records and accurately assign medical codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services
• Ensure coding is compliant with relevant guidelines and regulations
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding-related inquiries or discrepancies
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and industry trends
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets
