Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Support Representative to join our logistics team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing support related to logistics, shipping, tracking, and delivery inquiries. The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of logistics operations to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping status, delivery updates, order tracking, shipping policies, and other logistics-related matters via phone, email, or chat.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues related to delays, lost shipments, incorrect orders, or damaged goods. Ensure that all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Order Management: Monitor order statuses and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Coordination with External Partners: Communicate with carriers, shipping partners, and warehouses to resolve issues or clarify shipment details.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the customer support system. Document customer feedback and escalate recurring issues to relevant departments.
- Follow-up: Follow up with customers to ensure that their concerns have been addressed and to gather feedback on their experience.
- Logistics Support: Assist with scheduling shipments, providing delivery estimates, and ensuring that all shipping-related documentation is in order.
- Reporting: Generate and report on common customer issues, trends, and feedback to the logistics and management teams for process improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mentality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using customer service platforms or CRM tools.
- Knowledge of logistics processes, shipping, and delivery systems is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
