Job Overview

Quantum Innovations is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Counsellor for 2024. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a maximum of 6 years of work experience in student advising technically, Business Development, educational planning, and career guidance. The Academic Counsellor will play a crucial role in guiding students through their academic journey and ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the VLSI industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in student advising, with a strong ability to guide students in educational planning and career pathways.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and academic professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with students and understand their individual needs and goals.
• Thorough knowledge of academic programs, especially related to VLSI, Embedded and Industrial automation design and semiconductor education.
• Ability to provide career guidance by understanding the job market and opportunities in the relevant industry.
• Strong convincing skills to effectively communicate the benefits of programs and courses offered by Quantum Innovations.
• Experience in organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and information sessions for students.
• Ability to analyze and assess student performance to provide tailored advice and recommendations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic advising to students, helping them select the right courses and programs to achieve their career goals.
• Offer career guidance to students by providing insights into the VLSI, Embedded and Industrial automation industry and job market trends.
• Assist students in creating effective educational plans that align with their personal and professional aspirations.
• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address academic and career-related concerns of students.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and events to provide students with additional resources and information on academic and career topics.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and industry professionals to enhance the academic experience of students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of academic programs, industry trends, and job market conditions to provide accurate and relevant advice to students.
• Over all business development, students and parents coordination
• Engineering engineering qualification preferred
