**Job Description:**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in event management, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service at every event.
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown, to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and supervise banquet staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences, and ensure that they are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with kitchen and catering teams to coordinate food and beverage service, including menu planning, presentation, and special dietary requests.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and linens, and ensure proper storage and handling to minimize waste and damage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all aspects of banquet operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, and take appropriate action to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the efficiency and quality of banquet operations.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, supplies, and equipment, to meet budgetary guidelines while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
- Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details, expectations, and assignments, and provide necessary training or instructions.
**Qualifications:**
- diploma in hotel management in banquet or event management, with a minimum of [3 to 4 ] years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, guests, and staff at all levels.
- Proven organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service protocols, including menu planning, wine pairing, and catering requirements.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and event management software.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Education:**
- High school diploma (diploma in hotel management ) or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management or related field preferred.
