Job Overview

UltraTech Cement is seeking a Mid-Level Assistant Application Engineer for a full-time position in Yelahanka. This role involves providing technical support, ensuring quality assurance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for UltraTech's application systems.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in technical support and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues effectively. Technical support (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong quality assurance skills to consistently deliver high-quality software solutions. Quality assurance (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in programming languages to develop robust application components with clean, efficient code.
  • Experience in software development methodologies and practices to enhance software quality and functionality.
  • Ability to manage databases effectively and ensure data integrity and accessibility as needed for application usage.
  • Expertise in system integration to ensure seamless communication between different software systems and platforms.
  • Strong documentation skills for creating detailed technical documents and user guides to assist end-users and support staff.
  • Capability to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually bring innovative ideas to the table.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and resolve application-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure the application solutions meet business requirements and are error-free.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features into existing applications effectively.
  • Develop user documentation and technical guides to assist users and technical staff in understanding application functionalities.
