Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Service Portal, UI Builder, Integration, and Scripting to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on enhancing the user interface, integrating systems, and scripting solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Portal Development:
- Design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing Service Portals to enhance the user experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Customize ServiceNow widgets and create dynamic pages to meet business requirements.
- Integrate Service Portal with other ServiceNow modules and external systems to ensure seamless operations.
- UI Builder:
- Work extensively with UI Builder to design and develop custom pages and interfaces.
- Implement responsive and efficient user interfaces that align with business needs and organizational standards.
- Optimize the performance of UI pages and ensure smooth functionality across various devices and platforms.
- Integration Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., third-party tools, databases, and cloud platforms) using integration tools like REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Web Services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for various integrations to ensure smooth data flow and process efficiency.
- Scripting:
- Write and maintain server-side and client-side scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and UI Scripts) to automate processes and support business logic.
- Customize ServiceNow functionality through scripted solutions to meet complex business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scripting and business logic.
- Customization and Configuration:
- Customize ServiceNow modules (Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, etc.) based on business requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in configuring the platform.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and other technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and contribute to best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, specifically focusing on Service Portal, UI Builder, Integrations, and Scripting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development (widgets, UI pages, and user interfaces).
- Proficient in UI Builder for creating custom and responsive pages.
- Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, and MID Server integrations.
- Experience with JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs (e.g., GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Workflows.
- Experience in Business Rule, Script Include, UI Actions, and other scripting techniques.
