About the Role:
We are looking for a talented ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Customer Service Management (CSM), custom applications, scripting, and integrations. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions that deliver exceptional customer service capabilities. You will work alongside other developers, architects, and business analysts to build scalable and customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- CSM Development & Customization:
- Design and implement ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) modules and components.
- Configure and customize Customer Service Cases, Service Portals, Knowledge Management, and Incident Management within CSM.
- Create custom workflows, forms, and business rules to enhance customer service experiences.
- Custom Application Development:
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement custom features and functionalities to address unique business needs.
- Leverage ServiceNow development tools like Studio, Flow Designer, and App Engine to deliver custom applications.
- Scripting & Automation:
- Write and maintain server-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, and Glide APIs) and client-side scripts (Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies).
- Implement and configure UI Pages and UI Scripts to enhance the user experience.
- Utilize ServiceNow Flow Designer for process automation, orchestration, and integration.
- Integration Development:
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration methods.
- Develop and manage integrations with third-party systems like CRM, ERP, or legacy applications.
- Work with tools like IntegrationHub, MID Server, and Web Services to support various integrations.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and resolve issues related to performance, security, and scalability of ServiceNow applications.
- Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis for ServiceNow instances and integrations.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and functional teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with Customer Service Management (CSM), including case management, service portals, and knowledge management.
- Experience in developing custom applications and utilizing ServiceNow Studio for application development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other ServiceNow-specific scripting technologies (e.g., Business Rules, UI Actions, Script Includes, etc.).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Platform and its modules, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, and Change Management.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Orchestration, and IntegrationHub for process automation and integrations.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration techniques to connect ServiceNow with external systems.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Security framework, role-based access controls (RBAC), and best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when required.
