Job Title: ServiceNow Architect (ITSM & ITOM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ServiceNow Architect with 9+ years of expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), architectural design, scripting, and integration to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements and align with best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable, sustainable, and efficient technical solutions.
  • Lead the design and configuration of complex workflows, automations, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.


Implementation & Integration:

  • Lead and support the implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including configurations, scripting, and integrations with third-party tools and enterprise systems.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, CMDB, monitoring tools) to automate processes and ensure seamless data flow.


Customization & Scripting:

  • Develop and implement custom scripts using JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow scripting tools (e.g., Business Rules, UI Actions, Script Includes).
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow out-of-the-box features and create tailored solutions for unique business needs.


Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Lead a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators, providing technical direction and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and recommend ServiceNow solutions.
  • Act as a technical mentor for junior resources and provide thought leadership in ServiceNow best practices.


Performance Optimization & Upgrades:

  • Conduct performance tuning and ensure ServiceNow environments are optimized for high availability and scalability.
  • Ensure timely and successful application of ServiceNow patches, upgrades, and releases.


Documentation & Training:

  • Develop technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and integration details.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to customers or internal teams on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.


Skills & Qualifications:

Core Expertise:

  • 9+ years of experience in ITSM and ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow architecture for large-scale organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.


Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in JavaScript, GlideScript, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and integration techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server, and ServiceNow Data Import.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices for customization, development, and architecture.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and other industry standards.


Tools & Technologies:

  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Service Portal.
  • Proficient in using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for integrating ServiceNow with cloud-native services.


Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
