Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Purchase Manager to join our dynamic team at PVblink Technology Pvt Ltd, located in Ahmedabad. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The Purchase Manager will play a pivotal role in managing procurement processes and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of high-quality components essential for our energy solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in supplier relationship management to engage, evaluate, and optimize partnerships. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong negotiation skills to ensure the best pricing and terms with suppliers, aiming for mutually beneficial agreements. (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in SAP Procurement for managing purchasing operations, enhancing process efficiency and transparency. (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to perform demand forecasting to anticipate supply chain needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Experience in strategic sourcing to identify and leverage suitable sources for product and service needs.
• Expertise in inventory management to oversee stock levels and reduce waste while ensuring product availability.
• Capability to develop and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and delivery timelines.
• Competence in contract management to draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts ensuring legal and business compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of components and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed decisions about purchasing strategies and negotiations.
• Coordinate with the production and R&D teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing stock holding costs and waste.
• Develop and implement purchase procedures and policies in line with company objectives and industry standards.
• Oversee contract execution ensuring adherence to agreed terms and conditions while minimizing risks.
• Report on procurement metrics, KPIs, and supplier performance to senior management for informed decision-making.
